English Education Department, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teachers Training. Advisor : Hj. Noor Maulidiyah, MA. Keywords: Ability, Listening, Listening Comprehension. The problem formulation in this research are : how is the students’ ability in listening comprehension at the twelfth grade of language program of MA Al-Hidayah Martapura Barat, what are the factors that influence the students’ ability in listening comprehension at the twelfth grade of language program of MA Al-Hidayah Martapura Barat, What types of question in the listening comprehension test are very difficult and difficult for students to answer. The subject in this research are 36 students in language program of MA. Al-Hidayah Martapura Barat. The object in this research is the students’ ability in listening comprehension, factors that influence students’ ability, and types of question in the listening comprehension test are very difficult for students to answers. For collecting the data, the writer uses some techniques such as test, Interview, questionnaire, and documentary. Processing data in this research is divided into five phases : editing, coding, scoring, tabulating, and data interpreting. All the data are analyzed descriptively and quantitatively, and concluded inductively. The result of this research states that…………
