ABSTRAK

Muhammad Rani, Effect of Implementation of the Full Day School Students Against Social Interaction in MTsN 1 Pelaihari Tanah Laut, Thesis, Islamic Education Department Post Graduate Program IAIN Antasari Banjarmasin, Supervised by (1) Prof. Dr. Mahyuddin Barni, M.Ag (2) Dr. Wahyudin,M.Si, 2017. Keywords: Effect, Full Day School, Social Interaction Full day school is one of the idea by practitioners to solve the lack of parents contra to children out of the formal school hours. Full day school is a public school model that combines intensive system of Islamic teaching is to give an extra special time for the deepening of religious students. Researchers probing throughout all of MTsN Tanah Laut, district are MTsN 1 Pelaihari, MTsN 2 Pelaihari, MTsN Batu Ampar, MTsN Kurau, MTsN Panyiptan and MTsN Kintap. Of the six MTsN located in the district of Tanah Laut only MTsN 1 Pelaihari implement full day school models. The focus of research in this thesis formulated (1) The process of implementation of the Full Day School in MTsN 1 Pelaihari Tanah Laut (2) The social interaction of students Full Day School in MTsN 1 Pelaihari Tanah Laut (3) The positive influence Full Day School on the social interaction of students in MTsN 1 Pelaihari Tanah Laut (4) Full Day School negative effect on social interaction a students first Pelaihari Tanah Laut. This research is a field, (field research) with a qualitative approach aims to describe or give a clear picture of the phenomenon under study. This study found that the full day school program or study full day of a merger between the regular morning program plus the additional program. Less than optimal compliance process and qualifications of educators, have an impact on the learning process in the classroom. Teachers should take into consideration the development of social and emotional behavior that is required of students in a day of learning conditions in schools. implementation of extra-curricular activities with a structured schedule of learning interaction patterns that shape students' social interaction. Positively influence the implementation of full day school models, among others, is to improve the cognitive abilities of children, addressing diverse learning needs of children of different abilities, giving the effect (effect and benefits) were greater for children who are less and reduce the achievement gap. These negative effects the implementation of full day school models for the development of students; Learners feel privileged and less amenable to group instead of the group; Learners less interact with family, relatives or friends outside of school.
