ABSTRAK

Ahmad Faisal; Internalization of Islamic values through extracurricular activities in SMK Negeri Banjarmasin; under the first thesis advisor Prof. Dr. H. Mahyuddin Barni, M.Ag and the second thesis advisor Dr. Hj. Romdiyah, M.Pd., at UIN Antasari Banjarmasin Postgraduate, 2017 Internalization of Islamic values through extracurricular activities of Islamic spirituality can be used as a solution in forming students’ good behavior. The purpose of this research is to describe the process of internalization of Islamic values through extracurricular activities in SMK Negeri Banjarmasin, to know what Islamic values that inculcated are and to describe the supporting and inhibiting factors in the process of internalization of Islamic values. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach. In conducting data collection procedure, the writer uses observation, interview and documentation methods by using descriptive analysis to describe the data which obtained by using separated words or sentences based on research data categories in order to get a conclusion. The result of internalization of Islamic values through extracurricular activities in SMK Negeri Banjarmasin research process is obtained by using two ways, namely direct and indirect. Direct way uses some methods such as exemplary, habituation, supervision, advice and punishment. Indirect way is obtained through learning in the classroom. The process of internalization of Islamic values through extracurricular activities in SMK Negeri Banjarmasin consist of four stages, which are; first is giving knowledge, the second is understanding, the third is habituation, and the fourth is trans internalization. The supporting factor in the process of internalizing of Islamic values through extracurricular activities in SMK Negeri Banjarmasin is the presence of the same purpose between the school committee and Islamic education teacher/extracurricular coaches in changing students’ behavior in a good direction. While the inhibiting factors are the lack of teachers’ support, the speed of internet access that can spoil the users, and about the budget (fund). From the result of the research can be concluded that the implementation of internalization of Islamic values through extracurricular activities in SMK Negeri Banjarmasin is carried out well.
