The objectives are : The quality of Regional English Try Out Questions of Social Department of Islamic Senior High Schools at East Barito Regency, Central Kalimantan Academic Year 2012/2013 and the appropriateness of Regional English Try Out Questions of Social Department of Islamic Senior High Schools at East Barito Regency, Central Kalimantan Academic Year 2012/2013 with the syllabus and curriculum. The subject of this research is the scripts of Regional English Try Out Questions of Social Department of Islamic Senior High Schoolsat East Barito Regency, Central Kalimantan Academic Year 2012/2013 which distribute to 104 students in three schools. The object of this research is the quality of Regional English Try Out Questions of Social Department of Islamic Senior High Schools at East Barito Regency, Central Kalimantan Academic Year 2012/2013 in perspective validity, reliability, difficulty level, discrimination power and distractor. To collect the data, the writer uses some techniques such as Documentary and Interview. Data processing in this research is divided into three phases ; editing, classifying and tabulating. Then, all the data are analyze descriptively, quantitatively and conclude inductively. The result of this research states that the quality of English Items such as Validity, reliability, Difficulty index, discrimination power and distracters are not good. Although the items are appropriate with the syllabus or curriculum.
