ABSTRAK

Betty Yohana.2015.Improving Mastery of English Vocabulary Students Through the use of Mind Mapping technique class V Madrasah Ibtidayah Baladan Amina Banjarbaru. Keywords: Study Results, learning mind mapping technique. This research is a class action.The purpose of this study was to determine the increase mastery of English vocabulary children using mind mapping techniques.This study consists of four series of activities performed in repeated cycles.The four main activities that exist in every cycle, namely, planning, implementation, observation, and reflection.This research is descriptive quantitative and berkolaburasi between researchers and classroom teachers.The data taken in this research is data test capabilities vocabulary (vocabulary) English language students.Data retrieval methods of observation and documentation. The subjects were students of class V Madrasah Ibtidayah Baladan Amina Banjarbaru.This research was conducted by 2 cycles where in one cycle consisting of 2 meetings.The results showed an increase in the ability of children's English vocabulary through the use of mind mapping techniques such .The enhancement on prasiklus amounted to 42.74%, in the first cycle reached 62.77% with an increase of prasiklus amounted to 21.03%.In the second cycle the average achievement of children by 80.20% with the increase reached 20.43% .The conclusion of this study is the use of mind mapping techniques can improve English vocabulary fifth grade students of Madrasah Ibtidayah Baladan Amina Banjarbaru.
